Frequently Asked Questions
1. DO CATS REALLY NEED TO BE BATHED? I THOUGHT THEY GROOMED THEMSELVES.
Yes! Once every 4-6 weeks
In general, cats should be given a bath once every 4-6 weeks, depending on how often they groom themselves, and the environment they're usually in. If your cat is more outdoorsy and soils itself while playing, it's a good idea to help with the grooming process as they alone won't be able to properly get cleaned.
2. IS IT WORTH IT TAKING MY CAT TO A GROOMER?
Yes! Regular grooming allows you to spend quality time with your cat, as well as providing the opportunity to monitor their health. Grooming also removes dust, dead skin and loose hairs, prevents serious tangling and matting and can improve circulation.
3. HOW WILL MY CAT DO IS SHE/HE HAS NEVER BEEN BATHED?
Groomers usually consider that it is a first time visit and will allow for some extra time to bond with your fur baby. Ideally it is best to go to a groomer that is independent since cats are very sensitive to grooming facilities that also groom dogs
4. WHAT ARE THE AVERAGE COSTS TO HAVE MY CAT BATHED?
In general, a grooming session can cost between $30 and $70. Groomers have the experience and equipment to safely bathe your pet and clip their nails without causing stress to your buddy.

6. HOW OFTEN SHOULD MY CAT GET GROOMED?

Most owners of cats or dogs with longer fur opt to take their pet to the groomers once every 4-6 weeks, while shorter-haired breeds may only visit every 8-12 weeks. You will also need to take into consideration the speed at which your pets' claws grow.
